What Motivates Employees to Sue their Employer?

I’ve written extensively about this subject. I’ve repeated it over and over that employees don’t sue their boss because “the law was broken,” they sue because they feel like they were treated like garbage. They only learn that the law was broken when they speak with an employment lawyer like me. I was recently interviewed by HR Morning about this subject, and I think the word is getting out to the decision makers.

I like how you talked about most employees hiring a labor lawyer to sue their boss because they were treated poorly, not because the law was broken. My brother has been treated pretty bad at his job, and I think that him speaking with a labor lawyer would be really helpful to him to see if his boss is doing everything legally. I’m going to have to see if I can find him a good labor lawyer in our area and see if we can help him!
